Percy - male
7 years old
Percy is a very friendly 7r yr young foxhound mix. Percy walks well on leash, is neutered and up to date on shots. He acclimated to the calm environment at WAAAG immediately and the volunteers love his gentle, endearing spirit. Percy came in with a very scared 2 yr old pitbull, Poppy. As a confident, easygoing gentleman, Percy was the perfect housemate for Poppy. He gave her the confidence to learn how to use the doggy door and she followed him everywhere.Percy will make a perfect companion for a low-energy family (no small children, please) or anyone who likes to get out for a little exercise as he loves his walks.
Wynter - female
3-4 years old
Wynter is a sweet and happy girl. After an initial burst of joy to be heading out for a walk, she does very well on leash. She takes a minute to get to know you, but then she is your BFF and will just want to be by your side. Wynter was found as a stray and stayed with a foster family until transport could be arranged to WAAAG. Wynter knows basic commands, loves playing with toys and will gleefully chase a ball. The perfect forever home for Wynter will be where she can be an only dog and enjoy a fenced yard. Due to her exuberant nature, older, considerate children only please. Wynter does not do well with cats.
