Bella - female
16 years old
Bella was surrendered to a shelter in MD when their family lost their home. This sweet girl has been through a lot and she needs a place to rest her head. She has some difficulty walking because of her arthritis and she is on medication to help her heart. This poor girl has been through a lot lately but she is incredibly sweet and an expert cuddler! Currently, Bella is in a WAAAG foster home being spoiled.
JuJu - female
10 years old
Juju is a very sweet, low key, 10 year old beagle mix from Fauquier SPCA. Just before Christmas, Juju was surrendered to another shelter. That shelter scanned her for a microchip and realized she was a former FSPCA pup. They notified the folks at FSPCA and they jumped into action bring her back (like WAAAG, FSPCA will ALWAYS take their dogs back.) JuJul is on a weight loss plan and she is doing great! JuJu loves to go on walks or just hang our and cuddle!
Waldo - male
2-3 years old
Waldo will make a loving, loyal companion. He was brought in as a stray and appears to be an American Bulldog mix. This boy is fabulous on leash, knows sit and is just about the best dog ever! Waldo runs to greet us as we enter the rescue - ready for fun and walks through the woods. A game of fetch will have him in heaven! Waldo made fast friends with his foster family's 4 dogs, so we know he is dog friendly.
Wynter - female
3-4 years old
Wynter is a sweet and happy girl. After an initial burst of joy to be heading out for a walk, she does very well on leash. She takes a minute to get to know you, but then she is your BFF and will just want to be by your side. Wynter was found as a stray and stayed with a foster family until transport could be arranged to WAAAG. She did very well with her foster family that included 4 family dogs. Wynter knows basic commands, loves playing with toys and will gleefully chase a ball. Wynter does not do well with cats.
Tonya - female
8 years old
Tonya’s first and only owner passed away in the summer. Tonya is a very social girl who bonds quickly. She loves to converse with you during the day and snuggle at night! She meets all of the requirements for a purfect companion, indoor kitty who only requires a perch from which to watch the birds and loving companionship. Her litter box habits are meticulous, she is utd on vaccines, spayed and her teeth are pearly white.
Tonya is currently in a loving WAAAG foster home with children and is doing great!
Martin - male
approx DOB 4/16/19
Martin is one of our little tuxedo trio we are calling The Three Amigos! They have all blossomed quite well during their time with WAAAG. They went from very shy kittens, afraid of every move, to brave and bold little guys that love to explore and play.
Pecan - male
approx DOB 8/8/18
Pecan was one of 5 kittens found with their mother, Muffin, living under a porch. Pecan is a healthy and adorable orange tabby. He is a little on the shy side and would benefit from an understanding home environment where he is allowed the time to form a bond with their humans as he has here at the rescue. We work very hard on socializing the kittens and they are all coming around to accepting the love and attention that they deserve. Pecan gets along with and plays happily with the other kitties in the cat cabin. We think Pecan would do well with another kitten or well-adjusted cat to be a companion for him.
Pumpkin - male

13 years old - female
Clara came to WAAAG after she and her sister LuLu had been turned loose as barn cats when their owner died. Having never lived in a barn, neither one was happy with their accommodations. When they arrived at WAAAG, they were both quite frightened little girls. At first we thought they should be adopted together but the longer they stay at WAAAG, they more we see that they are both very independent. Clara loves socializing with the other cats and often opts to stay in the kitten kennel to hang with the kittens. Clara still has her reservations about humans, but little by little she's allowing some interaction. She will probably never be a lap kitty, but one that enjoys being with other cats and tolerating her humans :) Won't you give Clara a forever home to call her own?
